Note: In order to increase calculation efficiency and stability, it is recommended to switch off Hyper-Threading under RC/DMP structure.


Before you begin

We recommend that you have the following information available before you begin this installation or contact Moldex3D or local reseller for more assistance:

Before install Moldex3D, please answer a few questions as below. It will be helpful to guide you complete the installation as well.

1.What license type do you purchase? Stand-alone or Floating?

2.Do you have Authorization Code (*.mac file) by you?

3.Do you have USB hardware locker with you ? If your license type is Stand-alone or you are installing floating license server.

4.Which computer you plan to be floating license server? Please write down its IP address or host name.

5.Do you need to setup a parallel computing environment in your network? If Yes, which computer you plan to be a Master Node and how many and which computers is going to be assigned as a Computing Node? Please write down these machine IP address or host name.

6.Following above question furthermore, the setup wizard will create a user account on whole computers; the account will be used in exchanging run time data of parallel computing. We strongly recommend you use “MDXParallelComputing” to be the user account name that will be more convenient in troubleshooting.

7.Any Add-ons modules I need?
