Center temperature result shows the center melt temperature in the thickness direction at current time step.
The center temperature is calculated by interpolating from the temperature values of the nodes that forms the element at the center of the path along the thickness direction.
•The red dot indicates the middle point of the gap-wise path.
•The nodes shown in blue are taken into interpolation of the center temperature.
•Note that this diagram does not show nodes in the direction normal to this view.
Center temperature is an indicator of thermal energy supply of the fresh hot melt.
You can identify possible flow hesitation or short shot if the center temperature is too low.
