Moldex3D Designer is a robust pre-processing tool. Equipped with two modes, eDesign mode adopted with eDesign meshing technology and BLM mode applied with BLM meshing technology, its special meshing kernel shortens meshing time by an auto meshing workflow, covering the setting of runner system, cooling system, mesh generation and export. Through its intuitive graphical user interface, you can handle and optimize various injection molding models easily just in five steps:
•Build runner system
•Specify cooling system
•Generate solid mesh
•Export mesh model
Besides auto meshing and manual design tools in both modes, BLM mode additionally provides fix tools to optimize the mesh quality. You can flexibly mesh your model either by eDesign mode or BLM mode.
When Moldex3D Designer launched, a pop-up window shows up as the figure below. Select a mode between eDesign and Designer BLM, and click OK to active workspace based on select meshing mode.
The interface of Designer BLM mode (abbr. BLM mode) is the same as that in eDesign mode. Besides, BLM Mode follows simple 5 steps as Designer eDesign Mode (abbr. eDesign mode) does. The difference lies in step 1 and step 4, which will be described in detail below.
First of all, activate Moldex3D Designer, and a pop-up window shows as the figure below. Select Boundary layer mesh (BLM) mode and click OK to enter Designer BLM Mode.
Workspace locates on the left side of the window, displaying five tabs to represent auto meshing five steps. Complete one step and the next step will be unlocked.
